Positive: The light colored and conditioned apartment in La Tejita. The apartment was freshly renovated in light white colors and we had feeling we were second if not the first to come after renovation. It is fully equipped for the beach - umbrella, beach chair and some sun-mats were provided. There is a balcony we used for breakfast and our son loved to sit at. Guest welcomed us at the parking (which is free and nearby) and seemed like very involved in us. There is big television for your entertainment needs and kitchen with utensils. A pool inside the living complex is big enough and there is enough greenery - it does not look barren and there is some shade even at day. The supermarket nearby provides all that is needed and there are many different cafes in the local shopping center.
Negative: The balcony overlooks the banana plantation across the road. You do can see the sea from one side and Teide on the other if you wish - but we didn't care about that and used the shades against the sun that are there. Airport is close - you may hear planes taking off - can't say they were plenty or that they bothered us in some way.
